Historic Garden Week in Virginia is sponsored by the Garden Club of Virginia and held annually in late April. Visitors are welcomed to over 250 of Virginia’s most beautiful gardens, homes, and historic landmarks during ”America’s Largest Open House.” All Historic Garden Week proceeds are used for the restoration of historic gardens and landscapes and Virginia State Parks throughout the Commonwealth.

Each year we partner with The Nansemond River Garden Club (Suffolk) and The Elizabeth River Garden Club (Portsmouth) to coordinate and host the Historic Garden Week tour in our communities. The three clubs participate together to organize the Historic Garden Week and rotate the venue.
